Welcome to Karlsruhe

The conference takes place in Karlsruhe, a vibrant university city in the southwest of Germany, close to the French border and the Black Forest region. Known as the “fan-shaped city” due to its unique layout radiating from the palace tower, Karlsruhe combines cultural heritage with a strong focus on science, technology, and innovation.

As the home of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), one of Europe’s leading technical universities, the city offers an inspiring setting for academic exchange and international collaboration.

Karlsruhe is characterized by its relaxed atmosphere, generous green spaces, and a vibrant cultural scene. Its central location in Europe and excellent rail connections make it easily accessible for international visitors.
